All Messianic prophecies find their fulfillment in The Person of Jesus Christ,
and pertain to His First Coming, His Kingdom, Birth, Life, Death, Resurrection and Ascension, as well as His Second Coming.

There are 330 prophecies from The Old Testament that were fulfilled in the First Coming of Christ. All The Bible (all History-His Story) before Christ's arrival tells of the preparation for His Coming and all of the years since that time, history has been in preparation for His Second Arrival. The scriptures that are prophecies and representations of Christ in every book of The Bible were fulfilled in the New Testament.

The Promise of The Person, Jesus, The Messiah was first pledged
when Satan deceived both Adam and Eve.
The prophecy was that the deliverer to come would destroy the works of the devil.

In the Book of Matthew the human ancestry is traced to Abraham himself,
and recorded in The Book of Luke, His lineage is traced back to Adam.

(Daniel, while in exile became an advisor to King Nebuchadneezar in Babylon, 605 B.C. The king had a very disturbing dream and all the well educated men were condemned to death for they could not tell him the meaning of his dream. Daniel requested to pray to God about this situation with his friends and it was given to him from God, the ability to interpret the dream which had included a prophetic vision of future empires. The Roman Empire was predicted concluding with The Eternal Kingdom of God. Later, Daniel was told from God, the year of The Messiah's arrival.)

The period of time prior to the FULFILLMENT of God's promised MESSIAH, through whom all nations
would be blessed (
Genesis 18:18, 22:18) was an era of preparation.

In the year 63 before Christ The Roman Army captured Jerusalem and the provinces of Palestine became subject to Rome as prophesied by Daniel hundreds of years prior to the event-Daniel 2:40,44. The Local Government, was entrusted to princes part of the time and the rest of the time to agents who were appointed by the emperors. Herod, The Great, who begain his reign is 40 B.C. was an Edomite, a descendant of Esau-Jacob's borther, was in his closing months as ruler of Palestine at the time of Christ's birth. Esau was Jacob's twin brother (2006 B.C.), Jacob being the forefather from whom the Israelites were descendants.

In the year 8 B.C. Zechariah, an elderly priest, from the Tribe of Levi, who was in the Temple carrying out the duties required, when the angel, Gabriel appeared and told him that he and his wife would conceive a son, even though Elizabeth, his wife was barren. Their son was to play an important role in God's Plan. He would be filled with The Holy Spirit and he was to be the one chosen to tell God's people that the long awaited Messiah was coming. (fulfilled prophecy of Isaiah 40:3-5, Malachi 3:1, 4:5,6.) A sign of wonder-not only had the sex of the child been foretold before it's conception but also his name, John (The Baptist).

(Isaiah's predictions from God were mostly about God's Judgement and His Salvation through His Messiah, The Coming King, whose way would be prepared by another, whom Jesus said was John, The Baptist. As the years drew closer for Christ 's Coming, Malachi, a prophet of God also spoke for God telling the people that God had said He would send a prophet who had the same minsitry of repentance, renewal and restoration, as the prophet Elijah, to prepare the peoples hearts for God's representive, His Son.)

The Messiah was promised through one family, Abraham, his son Isaac and then to Isaac's son, Jacob, and his descendants. Abraham lived over 2,000 years before Christ.
Only through his family was this heir promised and no one else's family.

God planned to develop a nation of people through which all peoples of the earth would be blessed. It was God's sovereign right to choose, by grace the lineage which was of the promised anointed heir. For over 2,000 years, Abraham's descendants were waiting for their Messiah. As time grew nearer, as prophesied, God narrowed this promise to the descendant of Judah, then King David's line. The Coming Messiah, perfect King, perfect Priest, this spiritual King, would come from David's lineage.

Six months after John, The Baptist was conceived, the angel Gabriel visited Mary in Nazareth, who was betrothed to Joseph, a man of David's royal line, the same as she was herself. The angel told her not be afraid, that she would be with child and give birth to a son; to name him Jesus (The Lord Saves), He will be great and will be called The Son of The Most High God. Mary was willing to be a humble servant of God but she was very puzzled. The angel reminded her, that All things are possible with God.

The Power of God would work a miracle in her womb and bring about a virgin pregnancy which would lead to the birth of a baby who would not be the son of a man but The Son of God. God's Plan was that
GOD HIMSELF, in human form would be The Saviour of humanity from destruction,
because of the works of deception from Satan. Again the child's sex, and name was foretold.

Joseph of Nazareth was a man of faith and principle. Discovering that his betrothed Mary was pregnant, he decided to legalize their separation quietly, but before he could do that, God intervened. An angel appeared to Joseph in a dream and told him that Mary's pregnancy was not a sin on her part, but a miraculous act of The Holy Spirit. He was told by the angel she shall have a Son and you shall name Him Jesus, meaning Saviour, for He will save His people from their sins. The Holy One born will be called The Son of God. Jesus also inherits a legal right to Israel's throne through Joseph, his surrogate father as well as Mary, fulfilling prophecies of Isaiah 7:14, 11:1, 9:6-7, Jeremiah 23:5. Joseph did what the angel commanded and took Mary home as his wife.

The offspring of a woman would crush Satan's head that was promised, was fulfilled in Christ's victory, during his birth, life death, resurrection and ascension-a victory all believers will share. A bruise to the heal is not deadly but a strike on the head is fatal. Genesis 3:15 The Messiah is prophesied as a king who carries out a programme of action that will cause the world to marvel. Wonderful things are planned. He will be a compassionate provider and protector. He would have the finest qualities, and will bestow on His people an abundance of blessings, to rescue them spiritually and physically.

The Messiah would be greater than the original King David, the Nation of Israel and would produce results. The Holy Spirit would endow Him with wisdom to undertake divine purposes and with power to accomplish them. The deliverer, was promised to bring victory over the enemies of His people. His rule was predicted to bring wholeness and well-being to individuals as well as collectively. He would not abandon His people. Jeremiah's prophetic ministry began when he became a priest. He was a priest and is known as 'a prophet of doom' or the 'weeping prophet', for he foretold the destruction of Jerusalem. He began to prophesy in Jerusalem about future events, including The Coming Messiah would come from the family line of King David.

Even though The Son of God was conceived and birthed by Mary, she still remained a virgin- a miracle, which fulfilled prophecy of Isaiah 7:14.

Christ was God in the fullest sense.(NEED TO KNOW TEXT)
(Micah,
God's prophet was born in Southern Judah and prophesied messages from God, The Father. God predicted through Micah that Bethlehem would be the birthplace of the King of Israel, whose beginning were with out time, from eternity and that The Messiah would rule and shepherd in the strength and majesty of God's presence and that He, The Messiah, gives and is mankind's peace. The Eternal King who would come to live as a man, has been alive forever, from everlasting to everlasting. This refers to Christ's Deity.)

Christ's birthplace was accurately predicted hundreds of years before He was born.

(The angel Gabriel was sent from God to give insight and understanding unto Daniel, affirming the coming Messiah, he was also told when that time would be. Isaiah announced the coming of God's redeeming presence. God pledged His residence with His people. The Light that comes will be as far as unto the nations of the world.)

In the year 4 B.C. The Roman Emperor decreed that a census should be taken throughout the nation. Everyone was required to return to his ancestral home for registration. At this time all provinces of Palestine were subjects of Rome including Judea. God used this as a means of fulfilling the prophecy of Micah 5:2, Isaiah 9:6. Joseph, being a member of David's Royal line journeyed with Mary to Bethlehem. On arriving, and finding no rooms vacant at the Village Inn, Mary gave birth to Jesus and placed Him in a manager. The first to be told of this great event were the night shepherds by an angel, then they saw a host of angels praising God. The shepherds ran to the village where they found Mary, Joseph and The Christ Child-they rejoiced and told everybody in the area what they had seen and heard. Not only was the place of Jesus' birth prophesied, but also when He was to be born in Daniel 9:25, hundreds of years prior to the event.

At the Temple in Jerusalem, the family was approached by a sincere God-fearing man called Simeon. He was given a special insight by The Holy Spirit to recognize Jesus, The Christ, sent from God. He took the Baby into his arms praying, "Lord, I have seen the Saviour You have given the world. He is The Light that will shine upon the Nations".
