Having completed His Work and Mission among mankind on the physical earth.Christ is Sovereign with absolute authority over the universe. Jesus excels over creaton and is supreme over everything in the created order because of His victory over His enemies. He possess the rights of an heir of all things.
Christ is reigning, with all angels, authorities and powers in submission to Him. He is seated at The Right Hand of God, The Father and is in the presence of God on the believer's behalf as their Exalted High Priest, Intercessor, Mediator and Advocate. His Presence is everywhere, no longer limited to a geographical area. He exercises His Authority in the heavens and on the earth; overseeing the Gifts of The Holy Spirit and Ministries upon His Body (The Church) on earth and upon whosoever believes and asks Him to be their Lord and Saviour from amongst mankind of whom He is Creator. Jesus' Kingdom is a heavenly Kingdom. His exaltation has come from God the Father. He always had claimed He was a King. He was born a King and will reign forever over every Kingdom.

The Body of Christ is God's Household, the pillars and foundations of truth. He governs The Body of Christ and directs His people towards the fulfilment of God's purposes.All power and authority within The Body of Believers is derived from Jesus, as The Head.He is the cornerstone and builder of His disciples, God's remnant people (The Church) He loves and cares for them. He provides the growth of His Body. Jesus also judges His Church. The Church of the firstborn, are Christians who are born again through their union in Christ. He will present His church blameless before God The Father. He is the High Priest over the priesthood of believers.

Jesus, The Christ will remain in The Third Heaven until the appointed time of His Second coming, which will conclude The Age of the outpouring of The Holy Spirit and is the completion of Salvation of His Saints from this present church age. No-one knows when Jesus will come but we are to look for the given signs in God's Word. This event in History will be a joyous occasion for those who are expectant and ready. His Return will also be the believer's sanctification and the transformation of their bodies to a resurrected body, incorruptible, not like the earthly body which at this time would have decayed. (The resurrection of the body is a teaching taught both in the Old and New testaments.) He will return in all His Grandeur and everyone on earth at that time will be aware of the accurate sameness and total recognition of Jesus of Nazareth, and will be unmistakeable! This event will end this age as we know it and bring about the judgement of the nations and a Messianic reign of 1,000 years, during which promises and prophecies will be fulfilled. After this time Satan will be cast to eternal torment and there will be The White Throne Judgement of all unbelievers, each according to what they had done with their knowledge of God before entering into the eternal realm.

Believers who are alive at the time of The Second Advent will experience 'in a twinkling of an eye' the transformation of their perishable bodies into spiriutal bodies-the same as their Risen Lord received when He conquerered death, and they will remain with Him forevermore, as believers that had previously died will do also. Christ's Second Arrival is His Return since physically ascending into heaven from the Mount of Olives outside of the City of Jerusalem of Judea, 2,000 years ago (now renamed Israel once more since approximately 1,000 years B.C during the reign of King Solomon.).
