SOME BLESSINGS THAT COME FROM THE PEACE OF RECONCILIATION OF MANKIND THROUGH JESUS, THE CHRIST- THE ONE AND ONLY WAY TO GOD, THE FATHER AND TO RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT.

God is the source of all blessings, which is the act or words of special favour, mercy, or benefit, thereby bringing happiness.

The blessings and promises of God are abundantly bestowed on all those who follow God's will. God's blessings are not a reward for godly living but gifts from a loving Father.

Both spiritual and material benefits are gifts of God given for the sake of mankind, both corporately and individually. Believers cannot but revere God considering all the astounding deeds He has given and done for them. Blessings from God should be remembered and not forgotten.

The gracious provision of spiritual needs are for the fulfilment of His purposes for His people. These gifts from God follow the restoration of the fellowship between God, The Creator and humanity. This reconciliation of the world to God was His initiative and is only possible because of the work of Jesus on The Cross.

People were cut off from fellowship with God because of mankind's expulsion from Eden brought about by rebellion. Disobedience, rebellion, defiance, without repentance can cause God to remove His blessings.

Some blessings are unconditional for all, e.g. seasons of weather, day and night, creation itself. God's nature and purpose of creation does not change.

The reverence of God brings God's favour to individuals, families and communities, it expresses itself in words and worship by God's people, for Him. It is appropriate to praise and gives thanks in response to God's gifts.

These spiritual blessings help believers to become Christ-like in thought, work and deed.

SALVATION-To save, help, rescue, in good health. It is the renewal and restoration
of man by The Word of God and by The Holy Spirit, because of Jesus'
obedience. Salvation is not only escape from The Wrath of God, but
deliverance from sin which includes spiritual blessings because of the
work of Jesus Christ. e.g. Gift of Eternal Life.

GRACE-Underserved Favour, unmerited Gift that God has extended towards mankind out
of His Love for us. The qualities of God's character are shown in His generosity,
bestowing righteousness upon His people through the atoning work of Jesus.

ELECTION-Is the name God uses to give all who believe in Him and
is based upom divine grace and not human merit.

CALLING-God invites all mankind to accept His Word, His Son, His Holy Spirit
and His Gift of redemption through Jesus, offering them Salvation.

REPENTANCE & FAITH-To turn from sin is the act of a believer following the promptings of.The Holy Spirit, turning toward God in belief, trusting in Him and His Word and Who He Is.

JUSTIFICATION-Is whereby God declares the sinner righteous and treats them as if
they have never sinned..

REGENERATION-Is the work of God in a believing person.The believer's
heart is spiritually and morally renewed by The Holy Spirit
which now dwells in the previouslyunbelieving heart.

ADOPTION-In those whom God works renewal, they are counted by
God as having rights and privileges as members of God's
own family - they become co-heirs with Christ.

SANCTIFICATION-Is moral character refined, which is progressively done by The Holy Spirit and
The Word of God. To be pure of.heart is having the right sincere attitude.

HOLY-Christ died in order to make the saints (believer's) holy for God.
Made separate, set apart for God, for worship, ministry and living.

GLORIFICATION-Is the future event where all the redeemed receive their glorified bodies like Christ's, perfect and whole, free from sin and decay, to dwell forever in The Presence of God, faultless before Him.
