Christ has promised to return but before He does at God's appointed time of this age, judgement is poured out upon those who have rejected that Christ was sent by God The Father to be the Only Saviour of mankind.

God's purpose judgement is to vindicate the righteous, bring justice for the weak and to punish sin.The judgements are closely related to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. A time that exceeds all suffering on the earth
God's wrath is Divine action and this period is frequently known as The Great Tribulation. This is called 'trouble' because of the hostility towards believers by the AntiChrist and those who belong to his worldly system and the suffering of those who are under God's wrath.

The AntiChrist directly opposed to Jesus. He is the self-appointed rival to God, and will deny all the fundamental truths about Jesus Christ, but his defeat is assured. God judges the world by condemning sin of ungodly individuals. It is a universal judgement of faithlessness. This disaster foreshadows eternal judgements. Believers need not fear the coming judgement upon the world.

The Book of Revelation, as well as revealing Christ who controls the course and climax of history and His Second Coming, is a promise of Divine protection over His people from the predicted judgements on the world.

Those who belong to Christ are exhorted to stand firm upon The Word of God, for the Testimony of Jesus. The future prospect for those who stay faithful have the destiny of reigning as co-heirs with Christ in His Kingdom.

Christians are not under the Wrath of God. Although many become believers of Christ during the tribulation period, they are sheltered from The Wrath of Christ and The Wrath of God. The Antichrist does persecute and slay many believers, giving them the status of martyrdom, but all faithful believers will not perish and many will be alive when Christ returns to the earth at His Second Coming.

There are three speculative ideas regarding the time when Christ catches up His Church.

1) Before any judgements begin. 2) After the first 3 and 1/2 years has ended, midway through the tribulation. 3) At the end of the tribulation, when Christ returns physically to this earth.

No matter when Christ catches away His Church and whatever judgements come upon this world that are directed at those who have rejected God and His Christ, faithful believers are shielded from them. In ancient Egypt, when Israel was oppressed in slavery by those who worshipped God's created substances, the last seven plagues of judgement that came upon the Egyptians, the nation of Israel was guarded against them.

History is the final interpreter of prophecy. Jesus said " I am telling you now before it happens, so when it does happen you will believe that I am He " John 13:19. Prophecy ultimately points to the fact that Jesus is right and not theories of humans.God commands all men to repent, because He has fixed a time at which the world will be judged.

The following are recorded in The Book of Revelation. There are Seven Seals, Seven Trumpets which are the Judgements of Christ and Seven Bowls which are God's Wrath. These judgements take place over the time of seven years.

5:1-14 Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals. 2 And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, "Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?" 3 But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it. 4 I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside. 5 Then one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals." 6 Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing in the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. He had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth. 7 He came and took the scroll from the right hand of him who sat on the throne. 8 And when he had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. 9 And they sang a new song: "You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation. 10 You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth." 11 Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders. 12 In a loud voice they sang: "Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!" 13 Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, singing: "To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!" 14 The four living creatures said, "Amen," and the elders fell down and worshiped.

The First Seal-A white horse and the rider with an empty bow meaning a conqueror bent on conquest and temporary false peace.

The Second Seal-A red horse follows and signifies war, the rider is granted the power to take away peace from the inhabitants of those belonging outside The Kingdom of God.

The Third Seal-Next a black horse is introduced with its rider, indicating that there will be world wide famine and prices will not be in balance. The very wealthy will not suffer as much as those who are poor.

The Fourth Seal-A pale horse with a rider whose name is called Death, followed by another horse whose rider's name is Hell.

The fifth Seal-The souls of the martyred preachers of The Word of God give their testimony wanting justice, but there is more persecution and martyrdom to come.

The Sixth Seal-Natural physical calamity, a vast earthquake causes destruction and cosmic catastrophy, the sun becomes dark, the moon turns red and stars appear to fall, this causes fear to mankind who acknowledge this judgement has come from Christ.

The Seventh Seal-There is a long silence and a terrifying crash. An angel mixes the prayers of God's people with incense. The angel throws fire from the altar down upon the earth.

The First Trumpet-Hail, fire, and blood causes 1/3 of the earth's vegetation is to be destroyed at that time.

The Second Trumpet-A burning mountain is thrown into the sea and 1/3 of the sea turns to blood. This is not natural pollution but an end-time judgement.

The Third Trumpet-A flaming star falls from heaven upon 1/3 of the rivers and springs which becomes bitter, many who drink it will die.

The Fourth Trumpet-The heavenly bodies are struck, 1/3 of the sun's light is lost, 1/3 of the light from moon and stars are also lost. Daylight becomes dimmed and the night darker from the loss.

The Fifth Trumpet-The First Woe-Plague of unnatural locusts that have power to harm but not kill, they are to attack all those who are not God's people and do not carry His marked seal.

The Seventh Trumpet-The Third Woe-The initiation of The Seven Bowls of The Wrath of God. All in heaven worship The Lord God Almighty.

The First Bowl-Horrible, foul and painful sores break out on the people who worship the image of The Antichrist.

The Second Bowl-The angel pours out the bowl on the sea, it becomes dead and every living creature in the sea dies.

The Third Bowl-The rivers and springs become as blood. This judgement is in response to those who martyr God's people who refuse to worship The Antichrist.

The Fifth Bowl-Darkness and severe pain continue to afflict the allies of The Anitchrist as they continue to curse God.

The Sixth Bowl-The Euprates River is to be dried up for the wicked nations to gather for battle at Armageddon. Demons perform signs and wonders for The False Prophet of The Anitchrist.

Rev 20:10-1, 21:1-8 10 And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever. 11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. 14 Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. 15 If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. 21:1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." 5 He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!" Then he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true." 6 He said to me: "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. 7 He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my son. 8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars--their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."
