Whatever bears the image of the world belongs to the world, but those who give their lives to God are His. Material wealth is temporary, but spiritual wealth is eternal treasure. Many get caught up in a material trap, collecting and storing all their de res that money can buy. Whatever is stored from spending has taken energy, time and thoughts. Jesus contrasted heavenly values and loyalty that do not fade nor get stolen along with the fact that procession can possess a person, as items become more imp tant than a commitment to God and His eternal word, which does give contentment and well-being in life, is lasting no matter how much tangible prosperity is involved.
