The Messiah, Jesus has the power to rescue and deliver humankind from the bondage and result of sin. This is moral and spiritual salvation, resulting in Eternal Life. Both Mary and Joseph were descendents from the Royal lineage of King David. Joseph’s ancestor was Solomon, and his brother Nathan, was the forebearer of Mary. 

Prophecy is the evidence of Divine knowledge. The Prophecies and their fulfillment provide some of the greatest proofs of scripture. Prophecy must be uttered before events come to pass.
