Jesus was triumphant in securing redemption for mankind by remaining sinless. He conquered the adversary. IT IS FINISHED He gave up His life freely, being victorious and triumphal. His life was not taken. He asked God to forgive those who persecuted Him. He bowed His head and gave up His spirit to God, The Father. Christ entrusted God for all His Life and now continued to at His Death, for He knew The Father to be trustworthy and faithful.Jesus had complete dependence upon The Father for the control of Body, Spirit and Soul.
