On the way to Jerusalem, Jesus sent two of His disciples ahead of Him with instructions to obtain a donkey with a young foal. It was to be His mount for His entry as the long awaited Messiah into The City of David, as He proclaimed publicly by His actions in fulfilling the prophecy to the crowds who at that time accepted Him as The Anointed One, The Son of David, that indeed that is who He was.
